'A message of peace and tolerance'

Deng Junbing has devoted much of the last seven years studying Gandhiji’s life, driven by the ambition of bringing his message of peace and tolerance to China. She discovered Gandhiji when she moved to India in 1998 along with her husband Zhou Gang, who served as China’s Ambassador to India until 2001. This week, her Chinese translation of The Good Boatman, the Mahatma’s biography by Rajmohan Gandhi, hits Beijing’s stands.
